TV actor Ashiesh Roy dies at 55 due to kidney failure [FULL BIOGRAPHY]

TV Actor Ashiesh Roy who is known for its role as Suryendra Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka and also in the 1993 serial Banegi Apni Baat and many other series.

He was born on 18 May 1965 in Delhi and died on 24 November 2020 at the age of 55 due to kidney failure in Mumbai.
The News of his death was finally confirmed by office bearers of Cine and TV Artists Association
According to Hindustan Times, he was supposed to undergo dialysis but died late on Monday night.

TV actor Tina Ghai, who had come to the aid of Ashiesh as he battled the disease, told Times of India, “We are grief-stricken. We have activated the Zonal heads at CINTAA. There is a problem in acquiring the death certificate too as he passed away at home.

Hindustan Times also said Ashiesh had been admitted to hospital a few times in the last couple of years and had run out of money.

He had complained about lack of funds and no work, a condition made worse by the lockdown. “I don’t have money. I had Rs 2 lakh which I gave to the hospital because within two days, the bill that was given to me amounted to that much. Right now, I don’t have a single penny.

People are coming forward to help me, they are calling up and telling me, let’s see what happens. Because of the pandemic I am kept in a special ward which is costly. My dialysis happens on some other floor and it goes on for 4 hours. There are medicines, injections which are costly,” Ashiesh had said in an interview in May this year as he requested for funds.

The actor had returned home after getting treated, later telling Hindustan Times in an interview, “I have led a dignified life all this while. “Nahi socha the ki aisa bhi din dekhna padhega”.
This means he never thought that he had to see these days. He also said, I plan to return all the help once the shooting of my TV show commences. Everything will be alright then.”

Ashiesh Roy was a well-known actor as well as writer in India. He started his career in 1997 in a TV series named Makrand in Byomkesh Bakshi serial.

In between 1997 and 1999 he was filmed as a creative unit in a TV Serial Banegi Apni Baat.
From 1998 to 2000 he played a role named Tanveer in the TV series”Yess Boss”.

From 2003 to 2006 in the famous TV Series Shaka Laka Boom Boom he was seen as Pathos’s father. Also in 2005, he was seen in Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi.

In 2006 he was seen in a film named Baa Bahu Aur Baby. Also from 2006 to 2008, he was seen as Saurabh Ghosh in TV Series “Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein”
From 2007 to 2008 he played the role of Das Gupta in Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi.

He was also seen in a famous serial Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale in 2010-11.
His other works are Sasural Simar Ka (2011-12), Jeannie Aur Juju (2012-14), Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai (2011), Goldie Ahuja Matric Pass and Mere Angne Mein (2015), Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (2016-17), Aarambh (2017).

He had also worked in various movies. In 2004 he was seen as a spy police in Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero.
In 2005 he was seen as Mr. Boltu in the movie named Home Delivery. In 2007 he was seen as a chief official at Indian Embassy in a movie named MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar. In 2014, He played the role of Kashi in the movie Raja Natwarlal and Anna in the movie named Barkha.
Ashiesh Roy was also a voice actor for Hindi dubbing in Hollywood movies like
Superman Returns, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Guardians of the Galaxy, RoboCop, The Legend of Tarzan.
